Are you thinking about going on a vacation this winter? Need help finding a destination? Then read on because we're going to discuss 5 tropical vacations that will help you to shake those winter blues.
Maldives
Located just southwest of India and Sri Lanka, the Maldives is the perfect tropical getaway. Characterized by light blue waters and white, sandy beaches, the country consists of 26 coral atolls.
Beneath its waters, you can find everything from stingrays to whale sharks to barracuda and more. Whether you enjoy fishing, surfing, snorkeling, or just laying out on the beach, the Maldives will accommodate you in a big way.
Kaua'i, Hawaii
Hawaii is filled with tropical getaways. However, the best of the bunch has to be Kaua'i. Characterized by majestic waterfalls, thick rainforests, mountainous coastline, golden beaches, and deep blue waters, it's an absolute sight for sore eyes.
In comparison to the other Hawaiian islands, Kaua'i has a more laid-back feel. This is due to its smaller tourist population. All in all, it's a great place for surfing, sunbathing, aquatic animal spotting, and other beach-based activities.
Bali, Indonesia
One of the more unique tropical vacation destinations, Bali is characterized both by its culture and its beauty. On one hand, it contains some of the most gorgeous beaches the world has to offer. On the other hand, it's home to a variety of temples, shops, and restaurants.
There's very little that you can't do in Bali. A tourist's haven, it offers bars, spas, sightseeing, swimming, sunbathing, and everything else you could ever want out of a tropical vacation destination.
Sanibel Island, Florida
Hoping to remain in the intercontinental United States? If so, you should give Sanibel Island a go. Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, this island sports beautiful weather all year round.
Characterized by deep blue waters and a laid-back, tranquil atmosphere, it's the ideal spot for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can find out more about Sanibel Island now!
