At Colette, the famed store (which will be closing for good on Dec 20th) hosted a party celebrating Chanel's latest exclusive - Pharrell Williams' (he is also one of the ambassadors of the brand's Gabrielle handbag, walked their runway shows, appeared in a movie directed by the Creative Director) sneaker. After the party, the pop up shop will continue and Chanel plans to donate profits from the pop-up to charities that are supported by Chanel Foundation which supports women as agents of social change throughout the world. Karl Lagerfeld was on hand to debut the 1,000 euro sneakers designed by the entertainer and artist at the Parisian concept store. These shoes were in collaboration with the couture house and Adidas Originals (which is the first time that the couture house has appeared on a product made by another brand). Pharrell has worked with Adidas previously on a collaborative sneaker project as his group, N.E.R.D. released a shoe exclusively this month at ComplexCon this month — was already being offered for $10,000.
